Our Story
At the heart of Sororité lies more than just a wax-supplying business; it’s a place of connection, creativity, and shared passion.
Founded in 2020 during the challenging days of COVID-19, Sororité began with a group of friends determined to make candles. After countless trials, setbacks, and attending many workshops in Lebanon & China, they finally discovered the perfect recipe for candle-making—using only natural products.
Despite the challenges, they avoided chemicals and synthetic waxes commonly used by commercial factories, creating a safer alternative for small businesses and home candle makers alike.
What started as a small endeavor has grown into a thriving business. Sororité is no longer just about friends, but a team, united in our mission to support and inspire others. We’re on our way to becoming a hub for candle makers—a space where people can come together to learn, create, and share their passion.
In addition to supplying materials, one of our core aims is to help individuals, especially women, who have faced hardships during our country’s economic crisis. Many lost their jobs or sought ways to support their families. We wanted to offer them more than just a hobby—we wanted to provide a path to independence and security. By learning the craft of candle-making, women can start their own businesses and gain financial independence, turning a creative outlet into a source of income.
